What counts as broslop
If foidslop is girl dinner and a Gilmore Girls rewatch, broslop is a gallon of whole milk and a three-hour podcast. The usual examples are protein powder in everything, cold plunges, mushroom coffee, sneaker drops, crypto charts and the Roman Empire, which a 2023 TikTok trend claimed men think about every day.
It's a less established word than foidslop, probably because the people consuming it rarely call it slop themselves. The meme chart that foidslop came from used different words for the male side: guychow for a steak-and-ground-beef dinner and guyslop for whatever a lonely guy finds in the fridge.
The overlap zone
Some things get claimed by both sides. Cottage cheese caught on with gym guys and with recipe TikTok around the same time, and Labubu collecting looks a lot like sneaker flipping. Those tend to get voted contested.
Why it never caught on like foidslop
Foidslop spread partly because women picked it up and used it about their own stuff. Broslop hasn't had that moment. Men who drink protein shakes and listen to long-form podcasts don't tend to describe those habits as slop, and the people who do call it broslop are mostly joking about boyfriends and brothers.
