TikTok runs on aesthetics, and every few months there's a new one with "girl" somewhere in the name. Coquette bows went on everything from sneakers to cakes. Soft girl and coastal cowgirl were whole wardrobes. Most of them last a season, and calling them foidslop is mostly a way of saying you're tired of seeing them.
Wellness is harder to call, because some of it is just good for you. An 11-step skincare routine is a lot, but sunscreen is sunscreen. Pilates was invented by a man to rehabilitate soldiers and is now a matching set and a $40 class. Bed rotting, spending a whole day in bed on purpose, got a cute name on TikTok but is something everyone has done since beds were invented.
